WPLJ
Composer: Luther McDaniels / Ray Dobard

Luther McDaniels was a member of The Four Deuces. Ray Dobard was the owner of the record label on which the song was first released. The song occurs on recordings as W-P-L-J or WPLJ. The group name occurs on the original single as 4 Deuces but in other places as Four Deuces. The meaning of WLPJ is explained in the lyrics;
The W is the white, the P is the port
The L is the lemon, the J is the juice
WPLJ was played once by Jerry Garcia, with Merl Saunders, in 1971.
