A jam performed by the Grateful Dead on a small number of occasions from 1973 onward. The jam is thought by some to be based on the Paul Kantner tune Your Mind Has Left Your Body hence the name given to it on set lists. On two other releases of this jam it was given the title Mud Love Buddy Jam. A Mind Left Body Jam was played by Phil Lesh & Friends, with Branford Marsalis sitting in on saxophone, in April 2000. |
