Are You Lonely For Me, Baby? was performed once by the Grateful Dead in 1972. The song was also played in the mid-70s by the Jerry Garcia/ Merl Saunders groups. On Garcia/Saunders tapes and set lists the song is sometimes incorrectly labelled as Last Train or Last Train To Jacksonville.

The Freddie Scott version of the song reached #1 in the R&B charts in 1966.
