Notes

DeadBase includes this song in the set list for 6/11/69 California Hall, San Francisco. The list was provided by a Bay Area deadhead who attended the show and kept a list. It is thought that no tapes of the show exist. Therefore it is likely that there is no recorded example of the Dead playing this song.

After the success of the first two Everly Brothers singles, Bye Bye Love and Wake Up Little Susie, the third was a relative failure. Boudleaux Bryant decided that a change in direction was required and wrote some ballads for the Everly Brothers. One of the resulting songs was All I Have To Do Is Dream. Recorded by the Everly Brothers on 6th March 1958 and released in April 1958 with the Roy Orbison song Claudette on the flip side. It became the Everly Brothers biggest hit in the US.

All I Have To Do Is Dream was the Everly Brothers debut single in the UK.

Some sources incorrectly list Don Everly, Phil Everly and/or Felice Bryant as co-composers.
