A book that tells the story of Rock music by focussing on 20 'key events'. The first event is the Robert Johnson recorings session in 1936 and 1937. The second Les Pauls dvelopment of the solid body electric guitar in the 40's. All other events are in the rock era and include; Chuck Berry early recordings, Beatlemania, Monterey, Woodstock, Live Aid and the growth of MP3s and Internet downloading.
