Mike Seeger Discography
Mike Seeger was a founder member of the New Lost City Ramblers, starting the group with John Cohen and Tom Paley in 1958. He appears on all NLCR recordings. Away from the NLCR Mike Seeger made a number of other solo and group recordings and appeared on other albums as a guest. From the mid-1950's onward he collected field recordings of traditional musicians many of which have subsequently been released on LP and CD. He also contributed as producer, recording engineer and liner note writer to a number of other albums. This discography is an attempt to document the many recordings that include a contribution from Mike Seeger.
