The Frantics Discography

The Frantics were a short lived Bay Area band that existed probably only for a few months during 1966. The group line-up was Charlie Schoening (keyboards), Jerry Miller (guitar), Denise Kauffman (guitar) and Don Stevenson (drums). Bob Mosely (bass) was a member of the group at some point during their existence. The group were connected to Ken Kesey and the Pranksters and also possibly performed using the name Luminous Marshgas. The Frantics had disbanded by the end of 1966. Denise Kaufman was subsequently a member of The Ace Of Cups. Miller, Stevenson and Mosely went on to be members of Moby Grape.

Note that a number of reference sources link this Bay Area group with the Frantics who were based in the North West. There appears to have been no connection between the two groups. They were two of a number of groups who used the name during the 1960's.
