Crusader Rabbit Stealth Band

Crusader Rabbit Stealth Band was a name used on at least two occasions in 2001 for groups involving members of the Grateful Dead.

There was a Crusader Rabbit Stealth Band show at Sweetwater in Mill Valley on June 10, 2001. The group members were:

  • Rob Barraco
  • Jimmy Herring
  • Phil Lesh
  • John Molo
  • Bob Weir
The group played a two set show with the following set list.

Set 1: Jam > Truckin > Smokestack Lightning > Friend of the Devil > China Cat Sunflower > The Eleven > Brown-Eyed Women

Set 2: The Music Never Stopped > Jam > Get Together > Cassidy, Mason's Children > Viola Lee Blues > Maggie's Farm > Viola Lee Blues

Encore: Promised Land > I Know You Rider

Warren Haynes sat in for the encore.

The name was used again on the bill of the Phil Lesh & Friends New Years Eve show in 2001. The name Crusader Rabbit Stealth Band was used on the posters for the show. The group comprised Phil Lesh & Friends plus Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart. The group played one set.
